This poster is dedicated to only one pose and its variations: Setu Bandha Sarvangasana. Setu means bridge and Setu Bandha means the formation or construction of a bridge. In this position, the body is arched and supported on the shoulders, soles and heels.This asana gives the spine a backward movement and removes strain on the neck.A healthy and flexible spine indicates a healthy nervous system.
There are many more health benefits of Setu Bandha Sarvangasana: This Asana helps releasing stress from the back, toning the abs and buttocks, improving digestion, stimulating organs, it stretches neck, chest spine and hips, improves circulation of blood, calms your nervous system and brain, controls symptoms of asthma and high pressure, prevents anxiety, insomnia and fatigue, relieves effects of menopause, helps control mild depression and heals tired legs.
